Where did you train for your career? University of Pittsburgh, Mechanical and Petroleum Engineering

What qualities or skills are important in your career?  Strong social skills alongside a strong technical backbone.

What types of people do you interact with at your job? I work with all walks of life through my job. Daily, I interact with both customers and plant personnel. I also work with the sales team. At my last position, I worked on various oil rigs throughout North America. At that job, I worked with both rig personnel and office contacts.

Where do you work? (office, laboratory, factory, home, outdoors, etc.) I currently work in an office, but I spend time both on the road seeing customers and in the plant working with our product.

What are your favorite aspects of your job? I work with both my hands doing technical work, and I get to work with the customer solving their issues.

What has been the most interesting or unusual experience of your career? I ended up all over the US working on oil rigs and with this company, I've had the opportunity to interact with a wide variety of professionals.

Is there anything else about you and your career that you would like to share? Intelligence is only part of the battle, hard work is far more impressive than knowing everything. That can be learned, dedication can't.
