Science Technicians assist scientists by conducting lab tests and experiments. Kind of like Igor, Dr. Frankenstein’s right hand man, but without the hunchback. They use scientific ideas and techniques to solve problems in research and the development of products. Some technicians work in manufacturing, where they are quality testers. There are several ways to become a science technician. Some have an associate degree in applied science or technology, while others have a bachelor’s degree in biology or chemistry.
