Tour Your Future:

Tour Your Future is a career exploration program that gives girls, ages 11-17, an opportunity to meet female professionals who work in various organizations. The program shows girls that they can find a place in science by introducing them to diverse STEM careers, from avian zoologists and architects to software engineers and surgeons, at their work sites.

Do It Yourself Science:

These fun activities span diverse STEM (science, technology, engineering, math) topics, related careers and connections to professional women making a difference in the world. The activities cover a variety of subjects from kitchen experiments to field research and digital learning training to hands-on maker activities.

Cool Career Connections:

We want girls to recognize that STEM (science, technology, engineering, and math) topics and careers are pretty cool.  Maybe even cool enough to be part of their future plans. To help them envision these possibilities, this section provides career descriptions and profiles of women who are involved in these fields. These women give answers to some basic questions girls may have, such as, ”What’s a typical day like?” or  “How do I start preparing now?”  You get an inside look at each woman’s job, her dreams, and her most significant learning experiences throughout her journey. Despite comprising half of the overall work force, women hold only 25% of science and engineering jobs in America’s public and private sectors.  Only 10% of all engineers are women. We need to change that.  There are so many careers girls and women can pursue in science, technology, engineering, and math! From astronomy and chemistry to orthopedics and zoology, you can search a broad range of career categories to explore the exciting, and lucrative, possibilities!
